Useful information for students

Spring 2021:

  • Students who have not sat the compulsory Aptitude Test for starting studies in the English Dept. are required to sit it at the start of this spring semester. Please contact the person responsible, Frances Cook (frances.cook@unifr.ch) to make arrangements.
  • The Spring semester course timetable is now available here.

Students who wish to study English literature and linguistics are expected to have achieved a high level of English language competence in their Matura/Maturité/Maturita. We strongly recommend a level of C1 in English for students beginning their studies at the English department.
