"Being a History and English student strengthened my desire to work in international relations. It might take quite a few failed applications until you get en employment in the field of your choice, but stay persistent. In the end, for me, a job I held as a student ended up giving me the skills and experience that were required to get the job I will be starting in a month: I will be working as an Administrative Assistant at the Permanent Mission of Switzerland to the UN in New York City."
