Reserved collections
The reserved collections, or course reserves, comprise a selection of literature chosen by lecturers in the disciplines of languages, linguistics, literatures and musicology. They are available to users for on-site consultation in the library, on the 2nd floor of the BCU-Centrale for languages and literatures, and on the 4th floor for musicology.
The documents in question are marked with specific labels and cannot be borrowed.
If you are teaching a course at the University of Fribourg, you can request the creation of a reserved collection. In principle, all documents available in the swisscovery Fribourg-Freiburg catalogue can be included in it.
A reserved collection can be set up for a semester or for a full academic year.
To request its creation, please contact the relevant person in your department:
- Christa Mauron (Spanish, French, Italian, Romansh)
- Ngoc Minh Thy Lê (German Studies, Comparative Literature)
- Anne-Charlotte Bove (English)
- Altynay Abdieva Schütz (Slavic Studies)
- Florence Sidler (Musicology)
- Anela Petrovic (Language Centre, Multilingualism)
To ensure that we can take the necessary steps in good time, it is important that your application reaches us well in advance of the start of the semester. For more information, see this guide (French/German).
