RESEARCH AT THE UNIVERSITY OF FRIBOURG
RESEARCH DOMAINS
The disciplinary research domains match the five university schools.
These are the Faculties of Theology, of Law, of Economic and Social
Sciences, of Humanities, and of Science. Interdisciplinary research is
flourishing in areas ranging from European Studies, to Ethics &
Human Rights, and to Environmental Sciences. In addition, the
university's dedication to new research fields, such as Nanoscience,
Competitiveness and Multilingualism, keeps the researchers of the
University of Fribourg constantly striving to break new ground.
The Research Promotion Service assist the researchers in applying for
funding from a wide range of possibilities, and we of course welcome
SNSF professors, Marie-Curie fellows and ERC grantees.
