The course will examine a range of topics centred on family relations in participants’ countries of origin and in Europe from the standpoint of various disciplines (anthropology, law, psychology, sociology). In March 2019 (08-03-2019) we shall invite participants for half a day to Fribourg to attend the kickoff meeting of the seminar. There, the content and aims of the course will be discussed with the involved professors. The participants will be introduced in two tasks that they will do as homework over the next two months and mail us. From March to May, participants will a) read a text and b) write a short essay describing the significance of family relations in their country of origin.
They will also receive feedback by e-mail.
