Self-Access Centre

The purpose and aim of the Self-Access Centre for Language Learning is to supplement language learning in courses with a wide range of autonomy-promoting learning opportunities. This form of autonomous learning is not exclusively individual learning. On the contrary, it includes forms of social, formal and informal learning and uses interaction with other learners.

The Self-Access Centre comprises a media library with learning materials for around 60 languages and organises language tandems. It has guided learning Moodle platforms in German, French and English, and an online search tool for suitable learning materials.
