Gender equality grant is available to women researchers at doctoral or postdoctoral level who are employed in SNSF-funded projects and career funding schemes If you wish to embark on a transnational scientific or industrial doctorate, you may want to check out the EURAXESS Job Portal, where you may find advertised some open doctoral position within the framework of the European Training Networks (ETN; formerly ITN), the European Industrial Doctorate (IID) or the European Joint Doctorate (EJD). 
Short-Term Scholarships (4-6 months) offered to foreign students by the University of Fribourg
Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships for Foreign Scholars and Artists Scholarships offered by the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI): Swiss Bilateral Programmes (designed to promote and reinforce research cooperations with non-European priority countries) and Grants for the European University Institute in Florence
