Edy Portmann

Biography

Edy Portmann is professor of soft and cognitive computing. After an apprenticeship as electronics technician, he studied business informatics and got a doctorate in fuzzy systems. He worked for Swisscom, PwC and EY, and was a researcher at the Universities of Singapore, Berkeley and Bern. Today he is affiliated with the Human-IST Institute and the Mobiliar Cluster for Resilience of the university. Read more in the Horizons portrait.
