Viktor Pot

Biography

Viktor is a PhD Researcher in Supply Chain Management. His research focuses on humanitarian supply chains, health and commodity supply chains, with a emphasis on African contexts. He aims to generate practically relevant insights for practitioners and policymakers.

He holds an MSc in Operations Management from Ghent University. He worked seven years in data-driven decision making across humanitarian, research, consulting, and operational logistics roles, including four years with the United Nations World Food Programme in South Africa, Malawi and Chad; and the Humanitarian Research Group at INSEAD. In his career, he has led planning and optimization for large-scale operations, supported emergency responses, and implemented capacity-strengthening initiatives with local governments.
