Soft and Cognitive Computing Group

The soft and cognitive computing group follows the incompatibility principle, which reveals the necessity for fuzziness when explaining and understanding our social reality in which we exist. Performing research not only with academic but also with business and government partners for Swiss society, the group designs citizen-centered means for a sustainable digitalization of Switzerland. Its research which is revolving around computing with words and perception, does not restrict to fixed academic disciplines, but draws transdisciplinary from technology, science, and design. For more information visit the Human-IST website.
