Collections on Languages, Literatures and Music at the BCU Fribourg
The Cantonal and University Library of Fribourg (BCU), located at Rue Saint-Michel 6, holds some 18,000 volumes in open-access collections relating to research on multilingualism, foreign language learning and teaching, as well as other areas of linguistics.
These form part of the Collections on languages, literatures and music and are housed on the first floor of the BCU under shelfmark 400. Many other titles can be requested from the closed stacks.
The Languages and literatures information desk on the second floor is staffed Monday to Thursday from 9 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 5 pm, and on Fridays from 9 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 4 pm.
There, you can also draw on the services of the Documentation Centre of the Research Centre on Multilingualism (RCM).
