    Description

    This seminar explores current questions and emerging directions in cognitive, clinical and affective neuroscience through recent scientific research. The course is organized around broad questions such as: How does experience reshape the brain? How does the body shape the mind? Can neuroscience decode our thoughts, alter our emotions, or expand our states of consciousness?

    Throughout the semester, students explore recent findings from different areas of neuroscience while developing the skills needed to communicate research clearly, critically, and efficiently. Through a series of practical activities, they learn how to identify the key message of a study, explain complex findings to different audiences, communicate visually, and discuss science in an engaging way.

    In the final part of the course, students choose a topic from a range of current frontiers in neuroscience and present a recent scientific paper of their choice.

    Evaluation: The final grade is based on an oral scientific presentation at the end of the semester and active participation throughout the course.
