Developmental psychology

Developmental psychology is the scientific study of changes happening in human beings during their lives. Although initially interested in child development, this discipline has now enlarged to include adolescence, adult development and aging. It therefore covers all the stages and many different aspects of human development throughout life. Possible careers after studying developmental psychology are as a child, adolescent or school psychologist. It is also a valuable branch of knowledge to anyone wishing to work in an environment with children.
