Michelle Reed is an executive leader with over 25 years of experience in Global Trade Compliance and Sustainability. Ms. Reed has a proven track record of effectively managing export control, sanctions, customs, anti-corruption, and ethics programs for international organizations in line with business and growth strategies whilst guiding them to attain important Corporate Social Responsibility certifications.

Ms. Reed’s contributions have been acknowledged with prestigious awards, solidifying her reputation as a leader in compliance and sustainability. Her pragmatic initiatives have consistently raised industry benchmarks and promoted responsible business practices.

For over a decade, Ms. Reed served as a lecturer at the Institute of International Business Law (IBL), imparting valuable insights to professionals navigating the complexities of global trade.

In 2023, Michelle embarked on a new venture, joining Fribourg University and the IBL as Executive and Academic Director. Her aim is to leverage the IBL's LLM program to guide legal and compliance professionals toward new avenues of growth.
