Applications for the Ypsomed Innovation Award are still open until the 27th of September!

The Ypsomed Innovation Award seeks to encourage the inclusion of market needs in scientific work, as well as the translation of research developments into products or services on the market.

CHF 50 000 will be bestowed as the first prize, and two further projects will receive CHF 25 000 each.

Projects eligible for admission must:
- Have been predominantly developed at a university
- Contain innovative and economically feasible processes, methods, products or services
- Meet the objectives of the award donor

Students, assistants, lecturers as well as research and work teams of universities who wish to become entrepreneurs, or newly founded companies which have emerged from this environment and would like to implement a new project, are invited to participate.

Shortlisted projects will give a brief presentation to a broader audience. Six projects will then be invited to deliver a longer presentation and take part in an in-depth Q&A with the jury.
