The course will examine a range of topics centred on family relations in participants’ countries of origin and in Europe from the standpoint of various disciplines (anthropology, law, psychology, sociology). The seminar will take place on three Fridays at weekly intervals in Fribourg (03rd, 10th, and 17th of Mai).
During the first two days, a series of lectures will examine and compare family relations in European and non-European contexts from the perspective of the above-mentioned disciplines. Each lecture will be followed by a discussion with the participants.
