Esthétique & Critique

Quelles sont les fonctions critiques de l'esthétique aujourd'hui ? Comment l'esthétique peut-elle servir d'enquête sur les modes perceptifs (esthétiques) de l'expérience corporelle et sur leurs médiations sociales, technologiques et historiques ? Comment l'investigation des conditions sensibles de la connaissance, l'exploration des motifs imaginaires de l'action politique ou l'engagement avec des œuvres d'art contribuent-ils à renouveler une vieille tâche : l'autocritique de la raison sensible ?

Le groupe de recherche Esthétique & Critique a été fondé en 2020 à l'Université de Fribourg. Il vise à mettre en place une plateforme commune de recherche dans le domaine des arts et de la société. Son atelier de recherche permanent sert de lieu où les chercheurs émergents et confirmés peuvent présenter et discuter de nouvelles pistes de recherche expérimentales.
