Environmental Justice

Environmental Justice is a transdisciplinary framework to study the geographical and economic distribution of various socio-environmental conflicts (e.g. air/water/soil pollution, climate change impacts) on different groups.

Environmental Justice draws on a rich theoretical and methodological portfolio from environmental sciences and environmental studies, environmental ethics and social sciences.

Thematically, we study the socio-economic distribution of climate change impacts, environmental conflicts and policies on different communities.

We are collaborating with the Environmental Sciences and Humanities Institute (UniFR_ESH).
