Professor Sen’s research has been published in internationally recognized journals, including the Journal of Human Capital, Journal of Population Economics, and World Development. An active participant in the international research community, Professor Sen is a Fellow of the Global Labor Organization and a member of several leading professional associations. She earned her Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Missouri-Columbia (USA) and has held academic, policy, and research positions across India. Professor Sen will be available for discussions about her work during her visit to the University of Fribourg in June and July and expects to contribute to the ongoing international research initiatives in development economics.
