We are pleased to announce that the venue of the conference in 2008 will be at the University of Fribourg, near the picturesque medieval town centre of Fribourg in Switzerland.

Fribourg was founded in 1157 by Duke Berthold IV of Zaehringen. The old part of the town is one of the biggest and best preserved Medieval architectural ensembles in the whole of Europe.
