Our group is dedicated to provide bioinformatics support to life-science researchers of the University of Fribourg. 

This includes the following activities, most of them are free:

  • Project planing and grant writing
  • Software testing and development
  • Data management and analysis (subject to a fee)
  • Training and Teaching

Access to Vital-IT

Vital-IT is a high performance computing plateform for which the UniFr pays a licence.

Biomedical researchers are entitled to ask for a free access to the plateform, but starting from January 1st 2017 the CPU hours and TB storage usage will be charged at a nominal fee.
