The colloque brings together three international experts on Andean archaeology to discuss their work focusing on the Mochica culture in Peru: Dr. Luis Jaime Castillo (PUCP), Dr. Ari Caramanica (Vanderbilt Uni), and Dr. Jeffrey Quilter (Peabody Museum of Archaeology & Ethnology). The full-day colloque will focus on the themes of religion, culture, human-environment relationships and techniques of adaptation.
