A milestone for the joint Master’s programme: on 10 October 2025, the first class of the Master’s in Digital Communication and Creative Media Production (DCCMP) celebrated their graduation. The University of Fribourg and the University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons warmly congratulate the graduates on the successful completion of their studies.

On Friday, 10 October 2025, the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences at the University of Fribourg held its Master’s degree graduation ceremony. It was with particular pleasure that the first class of the joint Master’s programme “Digital Communication and Creative Media Production”, run by the University of Fribourg and the University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons, received their diplomas.

A total of 27 students successfully completed this innovative and interdisciplinary Master’s programme this autumn.

The graduates of this first class completed a newly designed study programme with great commitment, creativity and perseverance. As pioneers, they were not only learners but also active contributors – they critically reflected on the course content, helped shape processes and actively helped to design the programme.

For the teaching team, too, this first intake presented a particular challenge: all modules and procedures were run through for the first time in collaboration with the students. This required openness, flexibility and a spirit of innovation – qualities that have characterised the programme from the very beginning.

Special thanks go to Bianca Bärlocher-Wyss, who until recently was the programme director, and to the entire DCCMP teaching team, who have supported the students over the past two years with great dedication, expertise and passion.
