Presentation
 The Department of special education and the Institute of special education, affiliated to the Department, are responsible for research and teachings in the field of special education. The Regional school service, affiliated to the Institute, provides a number of special services such as speech and language therapy, psychomotor therapy and school psychology to the municipalities of the German speaking regions of the canton Fribourg.
