    Description

    At the end of the first semester and after preliminary discussions with their supervisor, students give an oral presentation of their research project for the Master thesis. The aim of the seminar is to introduce and discuss the subject, the research questions, the chosen methodology and the time plan. Students are also invited to present conceptual, theoretical or methodological problems of their research. This seminar provides the opportunity to test new and creative research ideas for the Master thesis.

    Training objectives

    On successful completion of this seminar, you will be able to:

    - formulate and present concisely your ideas, research questions, approach and methodology;

    - identify weaknesses and shortcomings of our approach; and

    - discuss critically your research project and the one of others.
