    Description

    Research without publication will remain unknown. In this Master course the student will get familiarized with this essential aspect of science and learn about the general structure and content of a scientific article (day 1) or an oral presentation (day 2). Further, he/she will gain essential information on the publishing business (day 1). 
    Finally, he/she will practice acquired skills in writing the outline (1-2 pages, incl. references cited) of her/his actual or future Master thesis, covering the following topics:
    - Title
    - Background /Introduction, ending with the questions to be addressed
    - Methods to be used
    - Expected Results
    - Significance of the findings

    These "assays"  will be discussed on day 3.
