On the 1^st of October 2021, Veronika Favre took over as Head of Section of the International Relations Office. Veronika Favre succeeds Marielle de Dardel, whose term of office ended after nineteen intensive and experience-packed years.

The new International Relations Office (IRO) head of section is already working since 2010 at the IRO of the University of Fribourg as a scientific collaborator and co-ordinator of the Swiss European Mobility Programme (former Erasmus).

Veronika Favre is 40 years old and lives with her family in Marly. She studied social sciences at the University of Fribourg and graduated in 2005.

Veronika Favre is looking forward to her new function, especially to numerous interesting encounters inside and outside the university walls.
