The Vigner Prize awarded by the Faculty of Law

The Joseph-Vigener prizes, endowed with 2000 francs, are awarded outstanding diploma, master's or doctor's degrees. At the Dies academicus 2016 four faculties confer Vigeer awards:

The Vigen Prize of the Faculty of Law was awarded ex anequo to Iris Reardon-Kofmel and to Bruno Pasquier. The titles of their doctoral theses are: "The Judicial Concept of Tax Avoidance in Switzerland.  (Steuerumgehung, évasion fiscale) in Switzerland. An analysis from the perspective of Swiss domestic law and its double taxation conventions where there are no anti-abuse provisions" and "The appraisal according to judicial discretion in the direct and indirect application of Article 42 para. 2 OR ".
