Andrea Frick is an SNSF Associate Professor of Developmental Psychology at the University of Fribourg since 2014. She earned her doctorate at the University of Zürich in 2006, after which she gathered four years of postdoctoral experience in the United States, first at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and then at Temple University in Philadelphia. From 2011 to 2014, she worked as an SNSF Ambizione Fellow at the University of Bern, where she was awarded the Venia Docendi (Habilitation) in 2013. Prof. Frick’s current research area is cognitive and motor development, with a special focus on the development of spatial cognition, mental representations, and imagery abilities.
