The "Villa Borsig Talks" in Berlin continue: on 8 February on the topic of "Orthodoxy as a political factor".
In 2018, the Federal Foreign Office established a Department for "Religion and Foreign Policy". Not to promote interreligious dialogue, but to better understand the peace potential of religions. Prof. Hallensleben and Dr Stefanos Athanasiou were once again invited to (online) discussions with representatives of politics and diplomacy. The focus was on Belarus and Ukraine.
