Jeremy Davies is a Partner in HFW's Geneva office. He specialises in oil trading disputes and related shipping, banking and insurance issues. Previously, Jeremy spent four years at Gard in Norway, working on defence cases; as the Secretary of the Board and as editor of Gard News. He was also largely responsible for producing the first international version of Gard's highly respected P&I Handbook. Before joining HFW he worked for two other leading London firms of solicitors and set up his own firm in Devon in 1990. Jeremy runs the Asdem Advanced Demurrage seminar with Roger Sepkes and has put together and presented tailor-made courses on shipping and trading issues for Litasco, Repsol, Engen, Koch Industries, Statoil and Petroplus.
