The Institute of Federalism has been conducting an evaluation of one Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) co-funded project on the “Improvement of the Local Self-Governance System in Armenia” (LSG).

In partnership with a local expert, the Institute has assessed the impact of the Swiss contribution to the second phase of this ambitious project and has presented its intermediate results during an on-line session on December 7 with representatives of state authorities, international donors and key stakeholders involved in local self-governance reform process in Armenia. The evaluation focuses on the sustainability of this successful project and on measures for scaling-up. The key findings were discussed in depth and the recommendations were well received by all the stakeholders. The final report will soon be published online.
