In September 2022 we organized our usual pre-semester German and French intensive courses. Participants appreciated our diversified program with classes in the morning and different workshops, excursions or activities in the afternoon.

Our courses are an ideal way to start your studies or your exchange semester at the University de Fribourg and a great opportunity to work on your German or French intensively. They are geared towards different target groups who wish to improve their German or French skills, namely:

• exchange students;
• current or future students of the University of Fribourg or other universities;
• current or future students of the different higher education institutions in the Canton of Fribourg;
• staff of the University of Fribourg or other tertiary institutions;
• persons seeking or granted asylum who are planning to study at tertiary level in Switzerland;
• all other individuals who would like to hone their language skills in a university environment.

This year, we were particularly happy to welcome the participants of the Perspectives AlterEgauZ program of the School for Social Work (HETS) in Fribourg, as well as many of the Ukrainian students who are currently at the University of Fribourg as Freemovers. The participation of the latter was made possible by the support of the Cantonal Office for Social Affairs (SASoc) whom we thank for the excellent collaboration!
