Interruption of Studies
In cases of illness, maternity or paternity, military or civil service, you have the possibility to temporarily interrupt your studies. The interruption of studies is valid for one semester. During the interruption, you must only pay the basic matriculation fee for your studies (CHF 115), but you cannot attend lectures, exercises or seminars, carry out laboratory work, submit written work or register for an examination. In order to request an interruption of studies you must complete this form and send it, accompanied by the appropriate affirmation, to Uni–Info by the September 30 for the autumn semester and by the February 28 for the spring semester, respectively.
