Work Permit
Overseas students can take up part time employment if the University confirms that this will not adversely affect studies. With the exception of students from the 15 EU countries, students from overseas may only work up to 15 hours a week (from Monday to Sunday) from the third semester onwards, for which they have been registered to regularly attend a course of higher education. The first two semesters must have been successfully completed and the part time employment may not hinder studies. Students who do not complete their studies within the allotted time may not work. In the months of June, July and August students may pursue full time paid employment as long as they have no lectures to attend. For this, however, a permit must be obtained.
More detailed information can be obtained from the Office for population and migration.
