Dr. Kaczor, who is the Author of Proportionalism and the Natural Law Tradition, spoke insightfully on this difficult topic of the case of the Simesse twin’s in Britain. He argued that by using traditional Catholic principles one could justify the separation of the twins, as a curative act that saves the life of the one, while letting the terminal pathology take is regretable course in the other. Nevertheless, it is doubtful whether the State should normally intervene in such cases against the wishes of the parents.
