Seminar of statistics

Short overview

  • The seminar of statistics focuses on the quantitative analysis of economic phenomena using advanced econometric and statistic methods. Nowadays, the efficient collecting and processing of economic data is essential for the resolution of economic problems and to gain new cognition. An optimal and adequate use of data is crucial for the scientific research as well as for the public sector, the firms and the households.

  • The courses taught at the Bachelor's level provide the undergraduate students with strong basics in the fields of statistics and econometrics. At the Master's level, the offered courses are oriented towards the main research areas of the seminar of statistics.
