General provisions
- Bachelor and Master theses must be submitted to the Dean’s Office during business hours or sent by post no later than Thursday, September 12, 2013. As of September 13, 2013, submission of Bachelor and Master theses can be accepted only if you are registered in autumn semester 2013.
- Bachelor and Master theses must be submitted to the Dean’s Office during business hours or sent by post no later than Thursday, February 13, 2014. As of February 14, 2014, submission of Bachelor and Master theses can be accepted only if you are registered in spring semester 2014.
- Students who have successfully passed all assessments needed for the bachelor degree and have submitted their bachelor thesis to the Dean’s office before the registration deadline for the concerned assessment period, may take as many master examinations as they wish. The results of these examinations will be recorded only when the Bachelor studies are complete.
This provision does not apply to the Master in Kommunikationswissenschaft und Medienforschung. - If the thesis has not been submitted by the specified date, the candidate is forced to withdraw from all master examinations that exceed the 18 ECTS authorised examinations by the Regulations (Art. 4)
- Thesis must be submitted to the Dean’s Office during business hours or mailed by registered post mail to the Dean’s Office. The date of postmark will prevail.
- Thesis must be submitted in heat sealed binding form.
- Deadlines: to participate in the annual Degree Ceremony of October 11, 2013, all assessments must be validated during the June 2013 assessment period and Bachelor/Master theses must be submitted to the Dean's office until Wednesday 29 May 2013.
Seminar papers
To be able to take 3rd year Bachelor exams, seminar papers must be accepted by the teacher until October 31st at the latest. Form
Instructions
Bachelor
- 1 copy (2 copies if there is a second supervisor)
- signed declaration (to be inserted after the last page and bound in each copy of the thesis)
- Frs. 120. -- (Please pay the amount on the Faculty account (Bank account) and present the receipt to the Dean's Office.)
- The thesis must be in heat sealed binding form (spirals are not allowed)
Master (Economic Sciences)
- 3 copies (if the master thesis is confidential, one copy is sufficient), (4 copies if there is a second supervisor)
- signed declaration (to be inserted after the last page and bound in each copy of the thesis)
- Frs. 120. -- (Please pay the amount on the Faculty account (Bank account) and present the receipt to the Dean's office.)
- The thesis must be in heat sealed binding form (spirals are not allowed)
Doctorate
- 4 copies, A4, binded.
- All necessary documentation required by the Dean’s office to the candidate according to the Guidelines point 3.
- Frs. 300. – for thesis submission and Frs. 100. – for defence (Please pay the amount on the Faculty account (Bank account) and present the receipt to the Dean's office.)
- The special Declaration (1 copy) can be printed and signed at the Dean's Office.
