illustrationThe Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences is located in a modern building equipped with state of the art installations for teaching, learning, and research, providing an ideal facility, catering to an average of 2000 students.

Its major sections consist of Economic Sciences and Mass Media and Communication research. These in turn are sub-divided into Management, Economics, and Information Systems in the domain of Economic Sciences - and into Mass Media and Communication Research (one chair is in German, a second chair is in French).

The Faculty not only enables students to choose between different Bachelor curricula but also to specialise in first class international Masters programmes.
In addition, the Faculty offers excellent executive MBA training in Technology Management (www.iimt.ch) and Non-Profit-Management (www.vmi.ch), both internationally acclaimed as leaders in their field.

Distinguished by its bilingualism (Frenche, German) on the Bachelor level and its trilingualism on the Masters level, with integration of the English language, this Faculty becomes the first multilingual university of Switzerland and a forum for its international staff and student body.
