Workshop for PhD and postdoctoral researchers: “Academic mobility with family and partner – How to get prepared?”.

This workshop, co-organised by the Office for Gender Equality and the Research Promotion Service, will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2017 (9:00 – 13:30, including networking lunch) at the University of Fribourg.

The presentations and discussions will inform researchers on all aspects of mobility in research – i.e. funding opportunities, personal life, mobility with family or partner, and administrative considerations – to help them prepare for this important career stage in the best possible way.

The program can be found here. Registration  is free but compulsory. The workshop language is English. The number of places is limited and the principle of first come-first served applies. Registered persons are encouraged to cancel their participation a few days in advance if they cannot attend so that their place can be given to another person.

  • Rooms: F130 and G130 (F130 for plenary discussions and presentations)
