Projet Title: A [11C] raclopride PET study on Dopamine activity, pain perception and reward processess in patients with Fribromyalgia.

The main aim of this project is to investigate the modulation of pain perception and pain relief by dopamine in patients with Fibromyalgia syndrome (FM) compared to healthy controls using the [11C] raclopride PET (Positron Emission Tomography)- method. A further aim is to investigate wheter the dopamine response to rewarding stimuli can differentiate between FM patients with and without depression in order to understand whether an alteration of the neural responses to reward could contribute to the depressive symptoms that are often associated with FM.
