Research fields

Broadly speaking my two main research interests are child development and cognition. More precisely, during my master studies I focused on sleep and its influence on declarative memory in infants and also worked in a project on emotion regulation in toddlers. In my PhD project I will focus on the relationship between cognitive development and emotion regulation in pre-schoolers and their stress response capacity. Moreover, I’m interested in whether children regulate their emotions differently in stressful situations depending on the absence or presence of their mother.
