Punishment and discipline behaviour of Swiss parents entitled to educationThe punishment-behaviour of parents, its modalities, its antecedents and immediate as well as long term consequences, are analysed in a representative study in collaboration with the Institut Demoscope. It is a replication-study after 12 years. The research works with three different modalities of questioning: estimation of the frequency, analysis of the last punishment episode and giving of standardised hypothetical situations. Suppositions about conditions and consequences of the punishment-behaviour are examined.
