Sixth European Working Memory Symposium (EWOMS-6)
Dear Colleague,
I am pleased to announce that the Sixth European Working Memory Symposium (EWOMS-6) will take place in Fribourg (Switzerland) from Monday 3rd to Wednesday 5th September 2012. The Department of Psychology of the Université de Fribourg will hosted the conference (http://www.unifr.ch/psycho/site/fr/).
The main focus will be on “Models of Working Memory”, and priority for oral presentations will be given to papers on this topic. However, and as for the previous EWOMS, submissions for communications on a different topic, but still related to WM, are welcome. Because EWOMS is a satellite of ESCoP (European Society for Cognitive Psychology http://www.escop.eu/), priority will be given to ESCoP members who will also benefit from discount registration fees. To keep the size of the conference reasonable, a maximum of 60 people will be able to attend the conference, and only those with an accepted communication. Thus, no on-site registration will be accepted.
To help you discovering the region, a trip and visit to one of the most famous chocolate factory (http://www.cailler.ch/fr/Home.aspx) in Switzerland is organized as well as the visit of the typical village of Gruyères (http://www.gruyeres.ch) with a typical Swiss dinner.
Researchers in the field of working memory are invited to submit proposal for oral or poster presentations by sending the attached form to ewoms6 (at) gmail (dot) com. The deadline for paper and poster abstracts (max 200 words) is April 15th, 2012. More information is available on my webpage (http://www.unifr.ch/psycho/site/units/developpement-cognitif/ewoms6/).
I am looking forward to welcoming you in Fribourg in September.
Kind Regards
Valérie Camos
