Accommodation

We recommend and reserve rooms for our invited speakers in the Hotel de la Rose, the NH Hotel Fribourg, and the Hotel du Faucon, all of which are close to the university and located in or near the old city.

A considerably cheaper option is a stay in Fribourg's Youth Hostel, which is right nex to the university.

All three mentioned hotels and the hostel are in walking distance from the train station.

The NH Hotel is located directly behind the big shopping centre opposite of the station. To get to the hotel, please take the main exit of the station, cross the main street ('Avenue de la Gare') und walk to your left, alongside the shopping centre. At the corner, please turn right towards the direction of the 'Grand-Places'. When you have passed the centre, you will immediately see the high-rising building which houses the NH Hotel.
