7th International Conference on Tumor-Host Interaction and Angiogenesis
Dear Participants,

The fields of angiogenesis and tumor host interaction, including cancer immunology, have entered clinical practice in recent years. Novel mechanisms of cancer progression and resistance have been unraveled, novel therapeutic targets have been proposed and novel therapeutic approaches unveiled.

New challenges, however remain, in particular the understanding of the role of angiogenesis and lymphangiogenesis in tumor invasion, metastasis and resistance, the mobilization, recruitment and regulation of inflammatory and immune cells and their impact on tumor progression and therapy.

Addressing these questions will be key to improve current therapies and develop new ones. To this aim, a deeper understanding of the biology of the tumor microenvironment and mechanisms of tumor-host interactions is necessary.

In this 7th International Conference on Tumor Microenvironment and Angiogenesis we are gathering leading scientists working on these aspects of cancer research to present and discuss recent advances and future avenues of research.

The conference will take place from June 25-28, 2017, at the Hotel and Conference Centre Monte Verità in Ascona (southern Switzerland), the venue of choice for international conferences subsidized by the Congressi Stefano Franscini (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich - ETHZ).

The total number of participants is limited to 100. Participants will be selected based on the scientific excellence of the submitted abstracts and publication record.
All participants are invited to present a poster. A number of short communications will be selected from the submitted abstracts.
