Questions addressed

The main research interest of the group is coronary artery disease, focalizing on the concept of vascular inflammation and endothelial dysfunction.
The work is primarily clinical with the aim to
► a) identify vulnerable plaques and endothelial dysfunction with novel coronary imaging techniques and invasive functional assessment,
► b) identify patients at risk with new biomarkers and functional endothelial assessment, and
► c) treatment of patients with vulnerable plaques.
