Carrefour-Suisse: mobility projec from the Édouard-Montpetit high school, Quebec

5 March 2013

For several years, the Édouard-Montpetit high school has proposed a so-called “mobility project” to a group of students registered in the programs of administration (accounting department and businesses management). This project called Carrefour-Suisse allows 18 students from Quebec to make an internship observation in Switzerland; to live in a family, to visit a lot of companies, governmental authorities, historic sites, bodies, etc. For several years also, their discovery of Switzerland begins with a presentation of the federal context and the Swiss institutions given by an IFF fellow researcher, Nicolas Schmitt. This year, this event took place on Tuesday, March 5th in the Saint Michel High School of Fribourg, for a group consisted of 18 students and 3 guides chaired by Mrs Pascale Deschênes, their Swiss counterpart being Mr. Jean-Marc Pürro, head master to the Southern High School in Bulle.
