Pease note:

  • If you want to practice sports in Switzerland (mainly skiing), make sure your insurance covers this risk.
  • Swiss health insurance does not include dental coverage, which can be very expensive in Switzerland.

Civil Accountability Insurance

This sort of insurance covers damage and interests to third parties. This is in case you cause unintentional damage to objects or hurt somebody whether doing sports, keeping pets, or as a renter, etc. For those students who do not have such insurance, we strongly recommend that you get one for your stay in Switzerland.
