Teaching in archaeometry
The Department of Geoscience gives a large variety of short courses in archaeometry.
A series of Introductive Short Courses in archaeometry is organized over a two year period. It is coordinated with the BENEFRI network (Bern, Neuchâtel, Fribourg) for their bachelor and master programs in archaeology. These courses are primarily targeting interested audiences from universities, museums or archaeological surveys.
In addition, Advanced Short Courses in archaeometry held by external lecturers are regularly organized by the Archaeometry group. They are addressed to advanced science students or an interested public with scientific background. These short courses are also part of the framework of the "Troisième Cycle de la Suisse Romande" CUSO for PhD students and post-doctoral candidates.
